North Wales, Snowdonia and Betws-y-Coed

Snowdonia is a wild place, home to Wales’ highest peaks, lovliest lakes and most beautiful valleys. There is much to do here—sightseeing, walking, painting and just generally soaking up the atmosphere and clean air. More adventurous visitors will enjoy nearby attractions like long zip wires, massive underground trampolines, climbing, canoeing, mountain biking, and the new Surf Snowdonia centre which is the World’s largest man-made surfing venue.

The pretty village of Betws-y-Coed is very popular and has easy walking paths in the woods, with plenty of opportunities for seeing waterfalls and wildlife. Llandudno, queen of welsh seaside towns, is not far away, and offers beaches and coastal walks and activities.
